In that case (as per Pieter's message) was removal necessary given that both SANCCOB's and Cape Nature's (whoever removed) it mandate surely also includes public outreach and education which could have been served much better by leaving the penguin to its own devices? Why capture a wild but apparently healthy animal when a few kilometers further many penguins (moulting or not) are in just as close (or closer) proximity to humans at Stony Point?
