✓ Sorry for the delay in reporting. Baillon's Crake was seen briefly in the far reed bank directly opposite Winterbottom Hide after 9a.m. Usually been in the first three hides in the past six weeks ... which are now totally dry.

✓ Baillon's Crake is now at Ernst Middlemiss, Rondevlei. It was seen from 7.45 a.m. to about 9 a.m. at Wheeler Hide (and then was moving left). He reappeared a little while ago at Middlemiss... unless it is a different individual. Visible now.
