Certainly not twitchable, but too good not to share anyway... and a very strong contender for "Rarity of the Year"...😁 Hennie Otto has just seen and photographed/videoed a DIVING PETREL species on the sea side of Dyer Island in Gansbaai...!! I can't be sure of the species yet, but will wait to get the original photos once they get back to land later. Whatever the case, it's the first live at sea record of any Diving Petrel in Southern Africa ever!!
