Philip Coetzee reports seeing a Tibetan Sand Plover today at Strandfontein sewage works, on P1, at 09:00. I’m still waiting for him to send me photographs of the bird but provisionally sending this out in case any birders are in the area and want to check it out. This remains a very rare species for the city of Cape Town
